Obituary
On June 14, 2016, Karen Donna Frazer of Edmonton, formerly of St. Paul, passed away at the age of 47 years. She is survived by her son, Jared Girard; friend, Robert Girard; parents, Rick & Paulette (nee Genereux) Frazer; sister, Tina (Jeff) McKay; niece (Goddaughter), Shania (Corey) Roddie; nephew, Brenden McKay; paternal grandmother, Mary Frazer; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Ted & Anne Genereux; paternal grandfather, Tony Frazer; aunt & uncle, Rhea & Ray Kotowich; uncle, Roland Genereux & a very special great aunt & uncle, Olga & Bill Zacharko. A Celebration of Karen’s Life & inurnment will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. To Karen’s family. My name is Belinda. I worked with Karen as her manager for several years. I am so heartbroken for your family and Karen’s son. Everyone who worked with Karen loved her. She was such a hard worker. Her work ethic and dedication to her family especially her son always amazed me. She spoke daily of Jerad always telling us how good his marks were in school. She displayed his school pictures proudly. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please let me know when the memorial is planned. Karen is so missed at the 108 st clinic. Belinda Roemer

Paulette, Rick, Tina. My sincere condolences in the loss of your beloved daughter and sister. Karen and I met in the past year and shared many great memories of our families. She was so brave and tried to hide the suffering. May her soul be at peace now. I wish the best for Jared as one of the most difficult things in life is for a child to lose a parent, and a parent to lose a child. Karen loved her family deeply. I will remember her fondly.
