Obituary
On December 30, 2018 Mrs. Julia Petruk of St. Paul passed away at the age of 99 years. She is survived by her loving daughters, Nadia (Marshall) Elkow & Lillian (John) Pilipchuk; 5 grandchildren, Chris (June) Bilawchuk, Dwayne (Kim) Bilawchuk, Trevor (Beatriz) Pilipchuk, Dean (Robyn) Pilipchuk & Tamara Stearns; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Naciuk; & sister-in-law, Rosie Petruk. Mrs. Petruk was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 2008; parents, Joseph & Sophie Stelmaschuk; 3 sisters & 1 brother. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with visitation one hour prior beginning at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Lac Bellevue. What a wonderful lady! So energetic, always smiling. Without Julia & her family, there would be no St Paul Farmers Market. The whole community has benefited from her many talents. Many families have one of her famous quilts to remember her by. Never an idle day for Julia, rain or shine.
