On April 25, 2016, Mrs. Josephine Pilisko of St. Paul, passed away at the age of 89 years. Josephine was born March 16, 1927 in Chroberz, Poland. She grew up on a homestead in La Corey, married and farmed in Elk Point. Josephine is survived by her loving children, Jane (Bernie) Dagg of Nanaimo, B.C, Dave Piliszko (Rita Irwin) of Vancouver, B.C, Allan Richard Pilisko of Elk Point, Joanne (Marcel) Noel of St. Paul, Ron (Corinne) Pilisko of Onoway & Don (Irene) Pilisko of Elk Point; grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Roberson, Tina Trojanow, Jason (Anna) Pilisko, Darren (Lisa) Pilisko, Rocky (Heather) Pilisko, Jayden Pilisko, Jordy Pilisko, Shawna (Randy) Formanek, Michelle (Leon) van Biljon, Tamelle Pilisko & Mickal Pilisko; 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; parents, Joseph & Veronica Domagala; 3 sisters, Mazie, Mary & Janice; brother, Ted; twin infant grandsons, Trevor & Travis Pilisko. In accordance to Josephine’s wishes no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private burial at a later date.
