On March 4, 2018, Mr. Jonathan Henry “Fatpin” McGilvery of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 42 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Louisa; 9 children, Charis Memnook, Zoey Jackson, Tyre (Farrah), Talon (Hailey), Trayton (Katana), Tyonie, Tysjon, Teciha & Tuleshia; his faithful dog, Blackie; grandchildren, Shania, Kobee, Adakiz, Desimous, Jediziah, Georgiana & Lightening Sky; loving parents, Henry & Irene Steinhauer; adoptive mother, Jenny “Mum-mum” McGilvery; mother-in-law, Florence (Gerald) PipeYoungchief; sister, Patricia (Wesley) Northwest McGilvery; step-sister, Chrisy Ann (Dusty) McGilvery; step-brother, Carl Steinhauer; 2 aunts, Florence (Larsen) Cardinal & Lorna (Leonard) Memnook; uncle, Ferlin McGilvery; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Jonathan was predeceased by his sister, Allison McGilvery; brothers, Darren & Merle McGilvery; step-brother, Stacy Steinhauer; adoptive father, Howard McGilvery; cousins, Clinton, Bradley, Chavez & Keifer; maternal grandparents, Wayne & Martha Houle; paternal grandparents, Sam & Mary Louise McGilvery; grandfather, Percy “Daddah” (Evelyn) McGilvery. A Wake will be held Thursday, March 8 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
