On February 14, 2020, Jolene Jackson passed away at the age of 39 years. She is survived by her children, Farrah (Thomas) Memnook, Isaac Memnook, Jodie (Chance) Memnook, Darren Memnook, Lyrics Memnook, Angel Memnook, Pariz Memnook, Poetic Memnook, Wapan Memnook, Elizabeth Jackson & Genesis Jackson; 3 grandchildren, Kobee, Adakiz & Desimous; loving father, Kevin (Olive) Cardinal; siblings, Priscilla (John) Jackson, Tracey Jackson, Shirley Ducharme, Geri (Stephen) Wu, Whitney Scanie, Clarence Ducharme & Clarene Ducharme; grandmother, Eva Cardinal; cousin, Phyllis Jackson; numerous nieces & nephews. Jolene was predeceased by 4 brothers, Darren, Winston, Darrell & Grant; mother, Suzanne; paternal grandfather, Clarence Cardinal; maternal grandparents, Francis & Kathleen Jackson. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Friday, February 20 & 21 at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. I met her a few years ago. She was a wonderful soul and I was happy to call her my friend. I remember we were beading necklaces and we kept missing each other with our needles because we were sitting so close to each other. We laughed about it and called each other needle necks. Her smile always lit up a room and that is one thing I will remember most about her
