On March 22, 2021, Mr. John “Jack” White of Elk Point passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his son, Paige (Margaret) White; 2 grandchildren, Terri (Devan) Wood & Cody (Nicole); 2 great-grandchildren, Kaelynn & Jackson Wood; siblings, Shirley (Jim) Currie, Barb Oxner, David (Carol) White & Bob (Wendy) White; sister-in-law, Geraldine White; brothers-in-law, Alvin (Grace) Meger, Larry (Jean) Meger, Les Meger & Howard Meger; numerous nieces & nephews. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Liz; parents, John & Ann; brothers, Kenneth & Edward; brothers-in-law, Harry Oxner & Earle (Dorothy) Meger. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Lea Park with Pastor Kevin Nelson officiating. If desired, donations may be made to Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute or Cross Cancer Institute c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul AB T0A 3A1. Jack was a life long friend to anyone who knew him , I will miss our conversations and his infectious laugh . He was one of my biggest supporters, coming to many hockey games in Camrose and would follow US Heinsburg boys during the summer months during the softball season .
