Obituary
On April 20, 2017, Mr. John “Speck” Halfe of Edmonton, formerly of Goodfish Lake, passed away at the age of 44 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; daughter, Jade Wind-dancer (Tyler); son, Brody Summer Storm (Natalia); stepchildren, Tyler Delver (Maddie Makokis), Blake & Bowen McGilvery; 3 grandchildren, Carrera & Malaya Delver & Gracie Sparklingeyes; father, Gorman; sisters & brothers, Colleen, Gorman Jr., Noel, Roxanne, Barbara, Lisa (Clarence) Cardinal-Halfe, Jennifer & Erin; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. John was predeceased by his mother, Mary Rita; & nephews, Toby Jonathan (T.J.) & baby Shane. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, April 25 & 26 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
