Obituary
On February 23, 2015, Mrs. Jenny Habiak of Vilna passed away at the age of 67 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Peter; 2 daughters & 1 son, Tammy (Eddy) Huk of Vilna, Peter (Cathy) Habiak of Edmonton & Cathy Habiak (Steve Klassen) of Vilna; 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Jenna, Gregory, Kayla, Alexandra, Eric & Kaylee; 3 brothers & 3 sisters, John Chimko, Mathew Chimko, Peter Chimko, Sophie Serafinchon, Annie Babiuk & Katie Babiuk; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander & Annie Chimko; & brother, Bill Chimko. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Reverend Father Mark Sych officiating, with interment in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Vilna. Our deepest condolences to Uncle Pete and my cousins on the loss of such a great lady. I remember so many Spring Breaks and summer weekends spent visiting the farm and sharing time with her. Always a kind word to be said, lots of smiles and laughter while doing hard work. Loved when she would let me get the eggs and play with the animals during free time. Beautiful Lady with a golden soul. May she rest in Peace. You are in our thoughts and prayers but I know she will be watching over those she loved so dearly and will always be right behind you to give you love and support like she only could.
