On August 23, 2024 Mr. “Jim” Norman James Bowen of Elk Point, Alberta passed away at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his 6 children, Joanne (Ray) Bodnar, Terry Tookey, Kendall (Michell) Zarowny, Kim (Ron) Campbell, Roberta (Glen) Scott & Grant (Erna) Bowen; 11 grandchildren, Clayton, Sean, Amber, Kalley, Sarah, Brett, Ashley, Kennedi, Emily, Colton & Brenden; 12 great-grandchildren, Shayla, Kimber, Amelia, Kaily, Jasmine, Brittni, Liam, Mindy, Kaiden, Lennon, Carson & Ellie; great-great-granddaughter, Rose; great-great-grandson, Sterling; special friends, David & Jeannette Buksa. Jim was predeceased by his wife, Amelia; parents, Marshal & Kay Bowen; brother, Doug Bowen. A private inurnment will be held at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elk Point. Sorry your loss. It is a sad day when the world losses a good man and Jim was a good one. I have fond memories of him that will always hold a place in my heart. I will never forget the Christmas he made special for this kid as I didn’t understand just what was going on an that time. He will be missed dearly.
