Obituary
On September 20, 2014, Mr. Jack Purificati of St. Lina passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; 5 daughters, Anna (Harpal) Minhas, Phyllis (Martin) Corbiere, Bev (Andy) Fune, Diane (Dan) Rizzuto & Theresa (Joel) Boyko; son, Joe Purificati (Nicole Nicholls); 15 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dora Gadowski & Edith (Raymond) Hurtubise; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Giovanni & Agnes; brother-in-law, Ted Gadowski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 26 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Lina. Reverend Father Dario Abram will be the celebrant, with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) or Kidney Foundation (Alberta & NWT) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. Marguerite and family. We were so surprised to hear of Jacks passing, we visited with him at the Coop not long ago and he said he was doing really well and he looked good too.
