Obituary
On June 18, 2016, Mrs. Helen E. Gulajec (née Onyshchuk) of Elk Point, formerly of Derwent, passed away at the age of 93 years. Helen will be lovingly remembered by 2 daughters & 2 sons, Darlene (Gene), Eugene (Deirdre), Christine (Phil) & Joseph (Marg); 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Josie; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; infant son, Paul; son-in-law, Victor; parents, John & Annie; stepfather, Tom; 4 brothers, Nick, Stan, Ed & Tommy. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Angle Lake. If desired, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Angle Lake c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
