Obituary
On December 30, 2015, Mrs. Helen Cooknell of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her son, Ron; daughter, Marcella (Paul) Goudreau; 2 grandchildren, Bernard (Jennifer) Goudreau & Colette Goudreau; 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob & Hailey; 2 sisters, Theresa Feland & Louise Lajoie; 2 sisters-in-law, Sophie Carle & Helen Carle; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth in 2009; parents, Francois & Emilda Carle; stepmother, Bertha Carle; 2 brothers, Rene & Leo; sister, Cecile Gonneville. Liturgy of the Word & Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be officiating, with interment in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Therien. Relation: Relationship - How did you know the deceased?
I did not know your mom very well as I only came to know her through my visits to Extendedcare to see my mom. I could see what a sweet lady she was and was very sad to hear that she was ill. I also know what an amazing family you are to spend as much time as you could with her. She was obviously loved and respected by her family. I will miss seeing her there…
