Obituary
On February 14, 2020, Mr. Harry “Windy” Brighteyes of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his children, Joshalyn Brighteyes (Fredrick), Ezra Mykat (Yvette), Kash McDermott (Desiree), Isaac Brighteyes & Georgia McDermott-Brighteyes; step-daughters, Shianne & Kathleen McDermott; mother of his youngest children, Mary McDermott; 12 grandchildren, Dylan, Cassie, Isley, Maci, Ayden, Astra, Arlo, Clementine, Sebastian, Tiace, Tahara & Atlas; mother, Victoria Brighteyes; sister, Debbie Potts; 2 brothers, Rocky Brighteyes (Amanda) & Allan Pasquayak; adopted brother, Fred Cross; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & grandchildren. Harry was predeceased by his father, George Steinhauer; sisters, Denise & Doreen Brighteyes; brother, Peter Pasquayak; nephew, Stacey Steinhauer; grandparents, Leo & Emma Brighteyes, & Henry “Harry” & Clara Steinhauer. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 10:00 a.m.) & Sunday, February 22 & 23 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
