On December 22, 2014, Mr. Harry Karpyshyn of St. Paul, formerly of Spedden, passed away at the age of 93 years. He is survived by 3 sons, Ernie of Spedden, Tony (Shirley) of Edmonton & Terry (Donna) of Spedden; 5 grandchildren, Kevin (Leanne), Kimberly, Serena, Kellie (Charlie) & Tim; 5 great-grandchildren, Marcus, James, Kyle, Hayley & Karley; 2 brothers & 6 sisters, Walter (Arlene) of Edmonton, Metro (Lil) of Ashmont, Anne Chimko, Rose Kozak, Katie Stratichuk, Agnes Dytiuk & Stella (Nick) Muzyka all of Edmonton, & Irene (Kelly) Orstad of B.C.; sister-in-law, Helen Karpyshyn; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lena; son, Lawrence; brother, Mike; sister, Mary Syroid; daughter-in-law, Carol; parents, Alec & Pearl. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Don Bodnar will be officiating, with interment in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Spedden.
