On July 6, 2015, Mrs. Gwen Hnatiw of Spedden passed away at the age of 72 years. She is survived by 2 daughters & 2 sons, Lorna (Klint) Krossa & Andrew (Charlene) Hnatiw both of Edmonton, Christopher (Tracy) Hnatiw of St. Paul & Audrey (Poncho) Mulkay of Spedden; 8 grandchildren, Braden, Shayla, Hailey, Savanah, Andie, Lexi, Ryan & Neil; 2 step-grandchildren, Kaytlynne & Kyle; brother, James (Bessie) Flack of Spedden; brother-in-law, Steve Kwasnycia of St. Paul; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Hnatiw; common-law husband, Metro Sadlowsky; parents, Aden & Bertha Flack; 2 brothers, George & Walter. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agriplex, Ashmont. Reverend Stephen Sparks will be officiating, with interment in Ashmont Community Cemetery, Ashmont. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
