Obituary
On November 1, 2019 Mrs. Gwen Drolet of St. Paul passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her 5 daughters & 2 sons, Sharlene (Rob) Gobert, Marie (Guy) Pomerleau, Valerie Drolet, Doug (Denise) Drolet, Karen Drolet, Cliff (Lori) Drolet & Anita Carson; 16 grandchildren, Dale, Robin, Radelle (Ben), Ken (Charleen), Kerri, Jesse, Cade, Amanda (Lee), Daphne (Remi), Jonathan, Shawn, Annie, Erin (Stephen), Marci, Ross & Matthew (Krysten); 17 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Matea, Tahlea, Kianna, Hunter, Aleah, Archer, Logan, Avery, Andi, Lane, Jensen, Brantley, Soren, Jude, Bella & Desmond; siblings, Marge, Joan McDougall, Jean (Dale) McFarland & John (Gloria) McConnell; 3 sisters-in-law, Gwennie McConnell, Maxine McConnell & Hilda Wood; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Drolet was predeceased by her husband, Bernie; parents, Charles McConnell & Evelyn Wood; daughter, Marilyn Garowey; son-in-law, Mark Deputat; 3 brothers, Clifford, Don & Leonard; brother-in-law, Tom McDougall. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) or Diabetes Canada c/o 5626 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
