Obituary
On January 16, 2020, Mrs. Gwen Behr of Elk Point passed away at the age of 76 years. She is survived by 4 daughters & 1 son, Kathy (Terry) Gusnowski, Karen van Roijen, Daryl (Wendy) Behr, Corinne Behr & Rhonda (Kelly) Stuparyk; 13 grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie), Kristofer (Kristen), Mackenzie (Leslie), April (Ryan), Eva (Drew), Courtney, Matthew, Kristen, Alexandra, Leo, Eric, Graham & Keith;10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jeanna Walker & Ann Culford; brother, Robert (Lynn) Walker; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Behr was predeceased by her husband, Vincent; parents, George & Mona Walker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Elk Point. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with interment in Angle Lake Community Cemetery, Angle Lake. If desired, donations may be made to STARS Foundation, Alberta Lung Association or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
