Obituary
On February 15, 2013, Grace Elaine Smith (nee Erickson) of Glendon passed away at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Allan; daughter, Donna (Daniel) Wizniuk of Camrose & son, Daryl (Lori) Knapp of Glendon; 6 grandchildren, Danica (Adam) Siewert of Bawlf, Dana Wizniuk of Camrose, Daylan Wizniuk of Camrose, Adam, Evan & Emily Knapp all of Glendon; 3 great-grandchildren, Natasha, Ashley & Tyson; 5 sisters, Theresa (Stanley) Pierce of Glendon, Glenna (Lawrence) Beaner of Edson, Mae Moore of Mann Lake, Ellen Sashuk of Iron River & MaryAnne (Andy) Leroux of La Corey; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Glen in 1993 & mother, Bernice in 1992. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m. at R.C.M.P. Century Hall, Glendon, with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Interment at Glendon Cemetery Association (Glendon Community Cemetery), Glendon. My deepest condolences to Jeep and family. Donna and I were buddies in school for many years and I spent a lot of time at Jeeps and Graces home. As I was there so much, Grace and Jeep treated me like one of their own. I always treasured the wonderful times I spent with Donna (just hanging out) and her parents. I regret that I did not see Grace before her health deteriorated. It is also very sad for me that my daughter Bree (who is Evans girlfriend) was not able to ever meet Grandma Grace as she was one of the most wonderful persons I have ever had the pleasure to meet and spend so much time with. My deepest sympathies to your whole family.
