Obituary
On March 6, 2018, Mr. Gordon Lindberg of St. Paul, formerly of Owlseye, passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his brother, Roy (Holly) of Owlseye; sister, Helen (Howard) Hancharuk of Grande Prairie; numerous nieces & nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Gunnard & Mary; 2 brothers, Carl & Morris; sister, Eva Forscutt. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agriplex, Ashmont. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Willowgrove Cemetery, Owlseye. If desired, donations may be made to Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Haying in the 30s (Cancer Support Society), or Ronald McDonald House Charities c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. Gordon was the best uncle I could have ever asked for and did his best to make us feel like part of his family even though my father (his brother) passed away so long ago. We have always held a relationship and it’s one I will always hold close to my heart. I’m just happy I got to see you one last time. I love you Gordon.

Gordon was an amazing uncle. Always did his best to ensure we had a good time and gave us some really amazing memories we would have never had without him. I always cherished the relationship I had with him very dearly.
