Our sincere sympathy on the loss of Glen. I (Edith) have known Glen since 1970 when I taught at Ashmont. Glen was a great bus driver and a big tease. I will remember his big laugh, his teasing, and his genuine niceness. Herb has special memories of Glen when he would come for a haircut. He always had lots to talk about and stories to tell. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Jean, James, Heather and Darren and Families,

Our hearts go out to you all in the passing of Glen; please know you are in our hearts and prayers. Please know we are thinking of you in your time of great sorrow. Words cannot express how very saddened we are to lose Glen in our lives. He was one of the first people we met upon moving to Ashmont many years ago. We will always remember his great friendliness and smile, how he liked to tell jokes and his great sense of humor. We got the Edmonton Journal every week at Doug’s Service for many years up until last fall; so Garry always had a weekly visit with Glen! How we appreciated that Doug, then Glen and your family operated Doug’s Service, it was such an important service in our community. We also appreciated our last visit with Glen and admired his courage in facing his illness. We have so many good memories of Glen; he was such a good person and he will be greatly missed.
