My deepest sympathy and love to Kenny and family. Gladys spent a lot of time at our Ashmont home (the CNR Station – 1947-1962). She was a special friend to Shirley, and, she was a part of our family. Always smiling, happy and willing to lend a helping hand. We also enjoyed visits in Vancouver when Gladys, Kenny, Brenda and Butch came to visit. We will miss her, and, are grateful for the many happy memories of our times together. Love, Edith, Shirley and Colleen

From: Lorri Nelson-Christensen
Relation: Family Friend

i will always remember Gladys (Happy Bum) and her and Mom’s many antics. They were forever dieting, dying/perming their hair, drinking coffee (and other stuff), playing cards and gabbing . I went on a trip to Golden once (I drove) with the two of them and it was like having 2 teenagers in the car! I am honored to have been a part of Gladys’ life. I feel for your loss.
