Obituary
On January 11, 2019 Mrs. Ghislaine Yvette Corbiere of St. Paul passed away at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her loving children, Claude, Gerald (Wendy), Martin (Phyllis), Lilliane (Chuck) Hebert & Anita (Dean) Fagnan; 4 foster sons, Michel (Shirley) Lemire, Normand Lemire, Andre (Cathy) Lemire & William Barefoot & their families; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Noella Lachapelle, Estelle Beaudry & Bernadette (Joe) Beaudry; 2 sisters-in-law, Lucie Poirier & Edna Henderson; numerous nieces, nephews & other special family. She was predeceased by her husband, Herve; parents, Philias & Palmyre Poirier; 6 brothers, Bernard, Aubert, Denis, Azarie, Roland & Paul; 2 sisters, Cecile & Gertrude; granddaughter, Nadine Lemire. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 19 10:30 a.m. at St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, Mallaig. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be officiating with inurnment in the church cemetery, Mallaig. Cremation will take place. If desired, donations may me made to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
