Obituary
Geraldine “Dolly” Olivia Cardinal, was born November 11, 1962 in St. Paul, Alberta and passed away on March 13, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 57 years. She is survived by her siblings, Mary Cardinal Collins, Ilene Nepoose, Denise Steinhauer (Mike), Nora Cardinal (Eric), Linda Cardinal, Brian Cardinal (Kathy), Debra Cardinal & Roxanne Cutknife. Dolly was predeceased by her parents, Peter Jr. & Theresa; sister, Loraine; brothers, Herbert & Leon; nephew, Michael. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.), March 18 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
In light of the Chief Medical Officer’s restrictions on public gatherings, Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel requests that you refrain from attending if :

I will always remember Geraldine fondly for her good conversation and great sense of humor. One of my greatest wishes in school back in those days was that she could be treated like I was, unfortunately, this wasnt always the case. It always really bothered me.
