Obituary
On April 23, 2022, Mrs. Georgina Morris (nee Zimmerman) of Lindbergh passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her 4 children, Jackie (Ken) Aarbo of Parksville, B.C., Tyler (Gwen) Morris of Lindbergh, Jon (Annie) Morris of Lindbergh & Perri Walker of Slave Lake; 11 grandchildren, Jolene Aarbo, Rayelle Aarbo, Jessica Morris, Jason (Corinne) Morris, David (Ashley) Morris, Amber (Eric) Morris, Kurtis (Ashley) Morris, Derri Walker, Martina Murfin, Maci (Chris) Murfin & Mark Hawkins; & 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vicky (Lorne) Smith of Gilbert Plains, Manitoba & Linda (Elgon) Eagle of Selkirk, Manitoba. Mrs. Morris was predeceased by her husband of almost 69 years, Thomas Ross Morris; son, Todd (Coreen) Morris; infant grandsons, Bryan Morris & Brandt Murfin; father, John (Jack) Zimmerman; mother, Rosa Zimmerman (nee Mitchell). A Celebration of Georgina, Thomas & Todd’s Lives will be held on May 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Allied Arts Centre, Elk Point. Cremation has taken place. Georgina holds a place of special memories for me….the many crafting sessions, the community birthday parties or bonkos games, and I can never forget the tupperware from when I was just a small child (those orange peelers were the best prizes!). She will be missed but not forgotten.
