Obituary
On May 19, 2013, Mr. George Brertton-Giant of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Delia; his children, Brenda, Shirley, Pam (Randy), Judy (Carl), Twila (Joey), Jody (Shawn), Jamie (Louis), Leslie (Bill) & Darcie (Irvin); his adopted children, Brenda Jenkins, Winston Delorme & Janelle Chief; 38 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren; 4 brothers & 4 sisters; Henry, Oliver (Eliza), Robert (Mavis), Richard, Florence, Doris (Chris), Doreen (Ivan) & Sylvia; special father-in-law, Louie (Gloria) Moosewah, special sister, Eva Favel & special brother, Eli (Mary) Brertton. Mr. Brertton-Giant was predeceased by his parents, Albert & Sarah; step-mother, Helen; brothers, Raymond, Freddy, Bruce & Dennis; adopted brother, Henry Suvee; sister, Yvonne; sister-in-law, Charlotte. A Wake will be on Thursday & Friday, May 23 & 24 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Robert Wright & Reverend Oliver Brertton will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
