Obituary
On January 17, 2013, Mr. Gary Young of Elk Point passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by the mother of his children, Lyn; 2 sons & 2 daughters, Lorne (Terry Shankowski) Young of Elk Point, David (Laurel) Young of Calgary, Kelly (John) D’Eath of Calgary & Tamara Young of Cold Lake; 6 grandchildren, Bradley, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Scott, Jacob & Katherine; brother, Donald (Karen) Young of Sherwook Park; sister-in-law, Adele Young of Calgary; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Earl & Estella Young; brother, Glenn Young; sister-in-law, Phyllis Young. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Allied Arts Centre, Elk Point with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to Haying in the 30's Cancer Support Society or charity of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
