On June 2, 2024, Freda Mary Rita Quinney of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her spouse, Anthony Whiskeyjack; children, Vitel Quinney (Sierrah) & Dean Quinney (Sadi) & many step-children; grandchildren, Tallah, Hailey, Paisley, Taliya & Atlas; Godchild, Wade Quinney; siblings, Edwin, Roland (Annabelle), Alma (Clifford), Christina (Dennis), Betty, Burton (Nancy), Tom, Althena (Tim), Gary (Connie), Steven (Yvonne), Loretta (Harley); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Freda was predeceased by her parents, Baptiste & Elizabeth Quinney; maternal grandparents, Walter & Elise Carter; paternal grandparents, Thomas & Aldina Quinney; siblings, Ina Fryingpan, Charlie Quinney, Ellen Fryingpan, Theresa Wade & Celina Quinney; nephews, Dean Fryingpan, & Ferlin Quinney; niece, Elise Quinney. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Friday, June 6 & 7 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake.
