Obituary
It is with great sadness and loss that our family announces the passing of Mr. Frank Spence of Lac La Biche on June 13, 2018, at the age of 81 years. He is lovingly remembered by 3 daughters, Shirley (Walter) Kotowich, Betty (Leslie) Castor & Lynnette (Sidney) Boucher; 5 sons, Donald (Linda), Roland, Paul (Jacqueline), Melton & Douglas; stepdaughter, Velma Cadieux; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence (Louise); 6 sisters, Rosetta Spence-Norris, Fern Thom, Lillian Iwasko, Edna (Robert), Martha (Gary) Winiandy & Dianne Thom; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Spence was predeceased by his wife, Emma; 2 grandchildren, Cindy Castor & Mark Castor; step-great-grandson, Owen Cadieux; parents, Gabriel & Roseanna; paternal grandparents, Frank Oliver & Mary Spence; maternal grandparents, Emilien & Mary Boucher. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, June 21 & 22 at Hylo Community Hall, Hylo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Lac La Biche. Reverend Father Aureus Manjares will be the celebrant, with interment in Willow Park Cemetery, Lac La Biche. To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
