On May 31, 2014, Mr. Frank Kucher of Vilna passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by 2 sisters, Nancy Shankowsky & Helen Frankiw; 2 sisters-in-law, Kate Kucher & Pauline Kucher; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Maxim & Annie Kucher; 7 brothers, Nick, Andy, John, Joe, Pete, Alex & Bill; 3 sisters, Magda Cozicar, Mary Boyko & Annie Paulencu; 3 nephews, Ed Shankowsky, Doug Kucher & Ken Kucher; niece, Patricia Kenyon. Divine Liturgy & Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry. Reverend Father Don Bodnar will be the celebrant with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
