Obituary

On September 21, 2022, Mr. Florian Pelletier of St. Paul, AB, formerly of Niagara Falls, ON, passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Florian was born on December 5, 1933 in St. Irene, Quebec to Emilie & Edouard Pelletier near where his family farmed. He had 2 sisters & 6 brothers and went to school in St. Irene to grade 8. When he was finished school, he got his papers to become a radio & television repair technician. He eventually came to St. Paul to work and while doing a service call, met his future wife, Therese. After only three dates, he proposed. They were married June 1, 1963. Florian & Therese then moved back east to Cochrane, ON where they opened a TV repair shop which they ran together for thirty years. They retired early and moved to Niagara, ON, but Florian was bored with retirement and ended up working in security at one of the malls. His main interests outside of work were walking, golfing, and his loving wife. The couple moved back to St. Paul in 2008 to be near family and when Florian started to show signs of dementia, he was welcomed to Extendicare on January 20, 2015.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Vincent with Reverend Father Jomy Kuriakose officiating.
