Obituary
On March 5, 2017, Mrs. Florence Berland “O’Sawew Peyasew Iskwew” of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 55 years. She is survived by 3 loving daughters, Ashley, Raylee & Kaylee Buffalo; 2 granddaughters, Rayla & Jeralyn; brothers & sisters, Henry, Gary, Rose, Linda, Tommy (Angie), Peggy (Victor), Brandon & Sage; adopted parents, Elie & Mary Berland; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her soulmate, Alvin Buffalo; grandson, Brandon Lee Buffalo; parents, Joe & Jessie Berland; siblings, Norman, Ruby & Ivan; paternal grandparents, Dominique Berland & Suzanne Siwepayiw; & maternal grandparents, Jim & Jeanne Mootcheweines. A Wake will be held on Thursday (procession leaves Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Friday, March 9 & 10 at Frog Lake Career Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Frog Lake Career Centre, Frog Lake.
