Obituary
On January 17, 2017, Mrs. Faye-Ann Larocque of Slave Lake, formerly of Lafond, passed away at the age of 43 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 7 years, Dave; loving parents, Nick & Aggie Kumpula of Lafond; sister, Jo-Layne (Cory) Bromberger of Lafond; many people who had the privelege of loving and receiving love from her, including: Candace Cardinal (Kyle), Johnny (Becka) Kumpula, Chris (Jen) Brideau, Lucien (Melrose) Roux, Darcy Aldrich & her Spacil brothers; godchildren, Alexis, Melanie, Alanna, Nicholas & Kennedy; numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Randall Cardinal Kumpula. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Centennial Seniors Centre, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place. I first met Faye-Ann in the fall of 2008 as she started working at the daycare in Slave Lake, Ab. As I got to know her better I started calling her my ” sister “. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Rest in peace my sister.

Faye-Ann was such a woderful person and it has been a privilege to know her, work with her, and call her a friend. I will miss her dearly and I will hold her memory in my heart always. Faye touched the hearts of so many, she changed lives, and always helped others to find their best selves. Her laugh was genuine and her kindness was too.
