Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of two loved ones on May 24, 2014. 37-year-old Erwin Lee Lapatak and his 10-month-old son, Erwin Lee Lapatak Jr., both of Wetaskiwin, passed away near Tofield.
Left to mourn the loss of both her husband and her son is wife and mother, Amanda Lapatak. Erwin also leaves his son, Austin Lapatak; daughter, Jada Morin; parents, Audrey Lapatak & David Robinson; 3 brothers, Edwin (Candace) Lapatak, Brandon Cardinal & Leroy Hunter; 2 sisters, Seanna (Joe) Lapatak & Kaybance Lapatak; & his paternal grandmother, Mildred Lapatak. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Albert Lapatak & Arlie & Adrian Robinson.
Baby Erwin Lee Jr. is also survived by his brother, Austin Lapatak; sister, Jada Morin; maternal grandparents, Noraella Morin & Guy Amyotte; & paternal grandparents, Audrey Lapatak & David Robinson.
A Wake for Erwin Lee & Erwin Lee Jr. will be held on Thursday & Friday, May 29 & 30 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Anthony O’Riordan will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
