Obituary
On September 8, 2019 Mr. Ernie Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his children, Neva (Vince), Mark, Deanna (Wayne) Morin & Curtis; 5 grandchildren, Kennedy, Josie-Leah, Tate, Kassandra & Isabella; loving mother, Jennie Cardinal; siblings, Theresa, Anne, Emil, Elaine, Ricky, Mona (Cal) & Achell; numerous nieces & nephews. Ernie was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis; father, Joe P. Cardinal; brother, Eugene; grandparents, Henry & Agathe Cardinal; grandson, Bryan; uncle, Harrison; auntie, Louise. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 4:00 p.m.) & Thursday, September 11 & 12 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. My heartfelt condolences to the Cardinal family. Elder Ernie ( aka Mosum) was an inspiration to me and I will remember him fondly and always cherish the wonderful lessons he shared. He truly loved his family and he adopted many into his heart too. God be with you until we meet again my friend and mentor .. you will be missed
