Obituary
On April 4, 2018, Mr. Emery Large of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 39 years. He is survived by his daughter, Verna Favel; son, Chaz Favel; 2 grandchildren, Athena & Naeley; siblings, Ann-Marie White, Marilyn Cardinal, Lorna Cardinal (Allen Favel), Steven (Doris) Cardinal, Joanna Large (Lawrence Wood), Crystal Large, Ryan Large (Angie Rodriguez) & Trina Large (Moe Shirt); numerous nieces & nephews. Emery was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence & Verna; brother, Tyler; sisters, Katie Cardinal, Leona Cardinal, Jackie Cardinal, Violet Cardinal & Baby Girl Large-Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Friday, April 12 & 13 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. So sorry for your loss. I worked as an Outreach worker in St. Paul and have to say that Emery always showed me the utmost respect. He loved to laugh and call me “Blue Eyes” Never once did he beg for anything from me. He was a gentle man, respectful, funny and grateful if I offered him a ride or something to eat. His cheery smile and disposition will be missed. May he Rest in Peace
