Obituary
On July 6, 2022, Mr. Emery Jackson of Edmonton, formerly of Saddle Lake, passed away at the age of 40 years. He is survived by his son, Emery Jr.; adopted children, Uniqua, Navaeh, Alonzo & Ava; partner in life, Melissa Cardinal; loving mother, Mildred Jean Jackson; 2 brothers, Flurian (Corinne) & Rayburn; sister, Agnes (Brian); mother-in-law, Emily Cryer; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Emery was predeceased by his dad, Florian Desjarlais; a child in infancy; 2 brothers, Ricky & Kenny; maternal grandparents, Kathleen & Francis Jackson; paternal grandparents, John Desjarlais & Agnes Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Sunday, July 23 & 24 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
