On November 14, 2021, Mrs. Elsie Mary McDonald of Buffalo Lake passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her children, Casey, Dale (Karyn), Dean (Cindy), Craig (Roxanne) & Amanda (Garnett); 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Delorme (Florence); sister, Roseanne Auger (Glen); brothers-in-law, James (Lillian) McDonald & Andy Guinand; sisters-in-law, Mary McDonald & Loraine McDonald; special nephew, Stan Delorme; special nieces, Patsy McDonald Cardinal & Barb Daniels. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Barnerd; daughter, Lynn; daughter-in-law, Dana McDonald; granddaughter, Michelle Sparklingeyes; great-grandson, Lucas Arcand; parents, Paul & Millie Delorme; brothers, Alex, Edward & Malcolm; sisters, Evelyn & Christine; sisters-in-law, Nancy Delorme, Mary Jane, Bella (Bob) Williams & Caroline Guinand; brothers-in-law, Robert & Alex; father-in-law, James McDonald Sr.; mother-in-law, Evangeline. A Wake will be held on Friday, November 19 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Buffalo Lake Recreation Centre, Buffalo Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Buffalo Lake Recreation Centre, Buffalo Lake. Thoughts and condolences from our family – Cliff & Diane Guinand, in Calgary, to all your families. I’ll also send dads (Andy Guinand) feelings as well as auntie Elsie was such a big part of our lives, from her babysitting me as very young boy to she being there in moms final days. It was all so appreciated. Gods speed auntie, and say hi to mom up there in Heaven as I know you two have a lot to keep talking, and laughing, about. To all my cousins and your families, we know it’s tough, but know she’s in a great place now. God Bless.
