On July 10, 2022, Mrs. Elizabeth Pearl Jackson of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children, Margaret Whitford, Linda Jackson, Mildred Cardinal (Henry), Arlene Brertton, Arnold Jackson (Rena), Barbara Pascal (Brent), George Jackson (Debbie), James “Kix” Jackson (Lana), Wally Jackson (Joanne), Herbie Jackson (Laura), Lorna Quinney (Trevor), Val Jackson (Kelvin) & Shauna Jackson (Stacy); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Betsy Whitford, Francis Houle Sr. (Jenny) & Lloyd Houle; numerous nieces & nephews. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Alex Jackson; parents, Tommy & Amelia Houle; children, David, Ernest & Jess Jackson; grandchildren, Susan Jackson, Tannis Jackson, Holly Whitford, David Brertton & Arnelle Jackson; great-grandchildren, Shyla Whitford-Marten, Sienna Mountain, Stetson Brertton-Stanley, Isaiah Brule-Jackson; great-great-grandchild, Jayde Stanley-Quinney; siblings, Mariah, Alec, Edgerton, Robert, Percy, Joe, Henry, Nathaniel & Thomas Houle. A Wake will be held on Thursday, July 14 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake. Relation: I didn’t personally know Linda’s mother but I went to school with Linda and was a friend to her brother David. I also had many business dealings with Ernest and her dad Alex. A very enjoyable family that I had many visits with many years ago.
