On September 25, 2015, Mr. Edwin Frank Quinney of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Irene; 3 daughters, Priscilla (Leo) McGilvery, Peggy Quinney (Harvey Houle) & Josie Quinney (Jake Cardinal); 4 sons, Hank Quinney, Clark Quinney (Tamara McGilvery) , Waylon (Roxanne) Quinney & November Quinney; 15 grandchildren, Danny, Leo Jr., Emma, Romeo, Heather, Nicole, Brandy, Kyle, Melissa, Brandon, Kristen, Christopher, Matthew, Doreen & Iverson; 11 great-grandchildren, Creesha, Hayden, Hayze, Haylen, Hayleese, Waylon Jr., Waylina, Keyanna, Jeter, Kylie & Nevaeh; 3 sisters & 4 brothers, Levina Thomas (Donnie Steinhauer), Mary (Alex) Cardinal, Karen Quinney (Barry Paul), Joe (Rose) Quinney, Ronnie (Beatrice) Quinney, Stanley Whiskeyjack & Alfred Quinney. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Caroline Quinney; 6 brothers, Baptiste, Wilfred, Charlie, Archie, Austin & Howard Quinney; 2 sisters, Sylvia Cowan & Charlotte Brertton. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, September 30 & Thursday, October 1 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
