Obituary

On January 1, 2017, Mr. Edward Kwiatkowski of Goodridge passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Alida; 3 daughters & 2 sons, Louise (Stephen) Gledhill of Camrose, Charles (Melody) of Goodridge, Helen of Edmonton, Donald (Tanya) of Goodridge & Rita (Darrell) of Seba Beach; daughter-in-law, Linda; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Victoria Tiller; 2 brothers, Frank (Beverley) & Mike (Audrey); numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Sophia; son, Andrew; brothers, Ludwik, George (Lorraine), Alfred (Eva), Stanley & Bernard; brother-in-law, Keith Tiller. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Aureus Manjares officiating, with interment in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Goodridge. Reception to follow at Goodridge Hall, Goodridge. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cross Cancer Institute c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. I remember, as a child, when Mr. Kwiatkowski use to come down to our place to help dad deal with certain jobs with the farm animals. I guess he was the resident vet in our area. Our condolences to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Your dad was a great coach as he taught me in performing surgical procedures on the animals on the Drapaka family farm. When the job was done he always had the time to share in a sociable As mentioned before indeed he was the local vet.
