Obituary

On March 12, 2012, Mr. Edward Kostrub of Boyne Lake passed away at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet of 49 years; son, Tim Kostrub of Cardiff; daughter, Cheryl (Rodney) Desmond of Boyne Lake; step-son, Gerald Smithson of Whitcourt; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Edna (Cyril) Powers of Redwater, Margaret Schumacher of Rosedale, B.C. & Irene (Walter) Kostrub of Boyne Lake; mother-in-law, Ethel Smithson of Barrhead; 3 sisters-in-law & 1 brother-in-law; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill & Lucille. Funeral Service Saturday, March 17 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Recreation Centre, St. Paul. Pastor Dick Upham officiating with interment in Pioneer Norberg Cemetery, Boyne Lake. If desired, donations may be made to S.T.A.R.S. Cheryl, Rodney, Adam, Vicki and Sarah,

We both are thinking of you all in your time of great sorrow in your loss. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. It is very difficult to lose a Dad, father-in-law and grandfather.

Our grandchildren are coming out this Friday; we had previously committed to babysitting, so only one of us will be able to attend the funeral services. We will be in touch personally soon.
