From: Debbie Coulter for Senator Thelma Chalifoux
Relation: Family friend

Please accept deepest and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Eagle Child – his father Fred and my mom Senator Thelma Chalifoux were colleagues and friends through the old Metis Association and i knew both Eagle; his brother Bob and his sister Phyllis – Eagle gave me my first set of Runes and did readings for me as well. I know he loved his time in the USA and will miss his beautiful flute music. Rest in Peace old friend, say hi to your dad and the rest of your family who are waiting for you there. I remember when my mom was first appointed to the Senate of Canada and how proud we all were, including you. She is dealing with age-related dementia these days but she remembers the L’Hirondelle family too and wants me to pass along her sincere sympathy as well. Thank you for your friendship, your good work, and the good memories!
Sincerely,
Your friends,
Debbie Coulter and
the Honourable Senator Dr. Thelma J Chalifoux (Ret.)
