Obituary
On August 20, 2020, Mr. Dwayne Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his 5 brothers & 1 sister, Robert, Henry (Irene), Joe (Olive), Bruce (Marina), Arthur (Verna) & Charlotte (Fabian) Large; adopted sister, Mary Whiskeyjack; God-son, Austin; special grandson, Shane Large-Shirt; special granddaughter, Tamra Steinhauer; numerous nieces, nephews & grandchildren. He was predeceased by his baby girl, Jessie; parents, John & Mary; brothers, Donald, Wilfred, Floyd, Jerry, Raymond & Dennis Carl. A Private Wake & Funeral Service will be held at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake. Words can’t express the way I feel. You were my best friend growing up. We did a lot of things together, made so many memories, good, bad, sad. But most of them were full of laughter or fun. You had a way of making situations more humorous and fun. We had so many laughs together. Righting these words brings back so many memories. You know we probably could of wrote a book and it would of been quite the adventure. You were and always will be my best friend. I will truly miss you. You know we never use to say goodbye but see you later. So my friend this is not goodbye but see you later.
