Obituary
It is with great sadness and loss that our family announces the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and uncle, Dwayne Lindberg of Owlseye, at the age of 72. Dwayne will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Lindberg; 3 daughters & 1 son, Lisa (Jack) VandenBerg of St. Paul, John (Kristi) Lindberg of Grande Prairie, Sandra (Eldon) Weinmeier of Boscombe & Janice (Harley) Thompson of Owlseye; 7 grandchildren, Kaylee & Jordan VandenBerg, Wyllo & Vylet Lindberg, Sheldon (Melissa) Weinmeier, Ally & Zach Thompson; great-grandchildren, Hadley & Parker Weinmeier; mother, Kay Lindberg; brother, Laverne (Sherry) Lindberg; brother-in-law, Terry Melnychuk; numerous nieces, nephews, inlaws & extended family. Dwayne was predeceased by his father, Stan; sister, Trudy Melnychuk; & niece, Gina Lindberg. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agriplex, Ashmont. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Owlseye. Dwayne was an avid supporter of Haying in the 30s.
