Obituary
On January 14, 2018, Mr. Douglas Sallstrom of Owlseye passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce; 3 sons, Barry (Linda), Dale (Corrie) & Dean (Melissa); 9 grandchildren, Janelle, Justin (Jessica), Garth, Rowan, Brooke, Georgia, Alayna, Devon & Aurora; 3 great-grandchildren, Holden, Kieran & Phoenix; 4 sisters, Sheila (Emil) Starosielski, Gladys (Ernie) Lilje, Nancy Kell & Shirley (Bill) Bergman; numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agri-plex, Ashmont. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Willowgrove Cemetery, Owlseye. If desired, donations may be made to Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support Society) c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
