On March 3, 2019 Mrs. Doris Thompson of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. She is surivved by 2 daughters, Linda (Doug) Robinson & Pauline Thompson; 7 grandsons; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Vicky (Bill) Pinchin; 2 brothers, Steve (Rosemary) Smilar & Henry Smilar; sister-in-law, Donna Smilar; numerous nieces & nephews. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Donald Thompson; son, Bud (Nancy) Thompson; daughter, Gloria Thompson; parents, William & Nellie Smilar; 3 grandchildren, Jody Thompson, Hunter Thompson & Cheyenne Thompson; sister, Mary (Johnny) Wanchuk; & brother, Eddie Smilar. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agri-Plex, Ashmont. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in East Star Cemetery, McRae.
