Oh my! I was saddened to see this this morning. Fern – my sincere condolences to you and yours at this time. I first met Doris when she and I were both working at the hospital and got to join her in our retirement years as a member of the hospital auxiliary. She was such a sweet lady and will be missed by so many. Cherish your many happy memories

Dear Fern and Family. It is with great sadness that I came across the news of the passing of Doris. I have so many great memories of the wonderful times we shared together when I was your teaching colleague in St. Paul. Doris always presented such a friendly, welcoming smile and her hospitality was always so generous. All the best to you and the rest of of your family in coming to grips with the void that she will no doubt create in your ongoing lives.
