Obituary
On May 25, 2019, Mrs. Dora Murray of Ashmont passed away at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her sister, Nellie-Jo Heaton; children, Normalee (Art) McMullen of Red Deer; Cleve of Ashmont, Thayne (Anna) of Calgary & Micky (Karen) of Ashmont; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Murray was predeceased by her parents, Ralph & Margaret; husband, Ernest; sister, Nila Lecomte; brother, Johnny Wall. Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date with inurnment in the Ashmont Community Cemetery. Mrs. Murray was an active member of the Ashmont Legion, Ashmont Ladies Auxiliary & Ashmont United Church. She was known for her ability to make a meal in twenty minutes for twenty people. Mrs. Murray loved knitting, quilting, cooking & playing with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the St. Therese hospital staff for the excellent care, as well as Sunnyside Manor staff & family she grew to know.
