Obituary
On April 3, 2021, Mr. Donald Kjenner of Elk Point, formerly of Heinsburg, passed away at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Della; 3 sons, Laverne (Agata), Gerry (Linda) & Darren (Tracy); 6 grandchildren, Gregory, Nicole, Carmen (Trent) Throndson, Morgan (Blake) Bowman, Kyle (Brittni Tessier) & Jackson; 4 great-grandchildren, Bea Throndson, Dax, Birdi & Busy Bowman; 3 brothers, George (Irene), Kenneth (Connie) & Raymond (Dianne); 2 sisters, Alma Gordon & Edna Noel; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Kjenner was predeceased by his parents, Fritz & Nellie Kjenner; siblings, Bobby & Linda; special aunt & uncle, Frank & Anna Bristow; special cousin, Annie George; brother-in-law, Rene Noel. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kevin Nelson will be officiating, with interment in Frog Lake Community Cemetery, Frog Lake. I think I was around 10 when I finally realized that Uncle Donald and Aunty Della were actually my cousins, not my Aunt and Uncle. That never changed a thing, from Proms and Graduations to wedding and eventually kids, they never missed a thing, when Mom passed away, they were there.
There will always be a special place for Uncle Donald with me, all the time I spent with them going to Mustang Games, feeding cows gathering eggs and at the lake and rodeos.
I know he found where he was going, and I will always be happy to say he was my Uncle Donald.
