Obituary
On March 2, 2017, Mr. Devon Dean of Cold Lake, formerly of St. Paul, passed away at the age of 36 years. He is survived by his loving parents, Gus & Linda Seward; children, Felicity, Elijah, Naomi, Micah & Kyra Dean; mother of his children, Crystal Dean; special companion, Shavona Belyk & her children, Darian, Tianna & Dahlen; 2 sisters, Stephanie (Matthew) Peddle & Kendra Parill; 3 nieces, Hailey, Erika & Shona; nephew, Jax; 3 aunts, Gina (Bob), Cynthia (Donnie) & Chris; 3 uncles, Cyril (Edna), Melvin (Viv) & David; grandmother, Edith Baker; & numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Charity; cousin, Stephen; 2 uncles, Alfred & James; grandfather, George Baker; great-grandmother, Annie Mae Rowe. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Hall, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Hall, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be officiating, with interment in Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul. If desired, donations may be made to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada or St. Paul Hospital Foundation – Mental Health c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1. My heart breaks for you all. I’ll forever cherish all the memories I have of Devon, there are tons and tons, every day another memory comes to my mind. Nan thought a lot about Devon, especially when you all lived just over the road. The stars will shine brighter and the skies will be clearer. Keep him close at heart and he will forever be with you.
